Noritake Associates is a proud member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), which hosts the most well-known green building certification program, LEED or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.  More than half of our staff members are certified as LEED Accredited Professionals by the USGBC.  Over the course of the last several years most of our commercial development clients have been responding to the increasing demand in the market place for green buildings by asking us to design using the USGBC standards.  Our staff works constantly to stay in step with the rapid innovation in this area of design and construction.  We have specialized experience to meet your environmental needs for planning and building design.

Recent projects designed by Noritake Associates to achieve LEED certification include South Lake, Dulles View and West Lake - all located in the Dulles Corner Office Park, as well as the HITT Construction Headquarters in Fairview Park, and 3001 Washington Boulevard in Arlington.  We have designed buildings in both the LEED New Construction and Shell and Core certification categories, with target certification ranging from the basic level of Certified to Silver and potentially Gold certification.
